City Grocers To Expand
City Grocers plans to move into the Syndicate Building, at the corner of 10th and Olive, in the fall of 2007. The new space doubles the downtown grocery store’s size to 14,000 square feet.
City Grocers is the only full-service grocery store downtown, and Syndicate homebuyers will reap the benefits of its move. Besides being extremely convenient, just a quick elevator ride, City Grocers also delivers right to your door.
The new location will feature expanded services including a pharmacy, in-house butcher, salad bar, juice bar, a larger bakery and an expanded wine selection.
City Grocer’s current hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Depending on increasing demand, the store may extend its hours after the move.

Wake Up To Rooster
Rooster, a new café serving breakfast and lunch, recently opened at 1104 Locust Street, downtown. The café features a wide variety of crêpes ranging from egg, fruit and chocolate for breakfast to chicken, sirloin and brie for lunch. In addition, the menu also features, soups, salads and sandwiches.

Construction Update
Syndicate Building construction is full-steam ahead with a 9th-floor model unit opening in February 2007. Homebuyers will be able to make an appointment to take a bucket ride to the display model. The first condominiums available for move-in are on schedule for late 2007.
