CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
10th floor units are near completion and ready to close towards the end of February. The 11th floor is starting to see some interior finishes; flooring and cabinets being installed. On floors 12 through 14, dry wall and painting is underway or complete. Work on the corridor areas on these floors is underway and several of the balconies are in place on these floors. Floor 15 has been dry walled and the 16th floor framing is finishing up and some staircases are being installed within the penthouses.
Our 24-Hour Fitness Facility is complete with equipment and plasma televisions. The party/club room has been furnished and complete with a pool table. There will also be a full bar area and foosball table added to the club room come springtime. The lobby is also now complete with a brand new maple hardwood flooring, decorative lighting, and furniture.

Irwin Tani is very excited to make his move downtown, not just because it will shorten his work commute or he can’t wait to enjoy the conveniences of city life, but this is his FIRST home! We are so pleased that after all his searching Irwin decided to make the Syndicate his answer to such a big decision!
“I visited various developments both under construction and already built between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2006. The Syndicate stood out for a number of reasons. First, I think the location is superb. It is a short walk seemingly from everything downtown has to offer and within downtown; I believe the Old Post Office (OPO) district is poised to become the next vibrant residential and hopefully commercial neighborhood. We are already seeing signs of that happening with various developments being built both from the ground up and from the inside out, and the Syndicate will be one of the anchors in OPO square. Third, the appeal of living in a 100 yr old architecturally significant, historical building being brought back to modern use is just really neat, for lack of a better word! Fourth, I was impressed by the previous developments that LoftWorks had completed in downtown.”
Moving from West County, Irwin currently considers himself a suburbanite but can’t wait to experience city life and see how it is sure to change his self-proclaiming title.
“As a current suburbanite, I am most looking forward to exploring a city in which I have lived for 2/3 of my life but am ashamed to say I don't know much about. I am eager to get out on foot, walking or running, or on a bike and being immersed in city life.” Like many of our soon-to-be residents that we have featured in the newsletters Irwin is thrilled about a shorter work commute and the ability to walk or bike everywhere. “Moving downtown will drastically shorten my commute from the current 30-50 minute duration each way to 5-10 minutes. Possibly even exploring the idea of bike-commuting to the office when the weather starts to warm up. Being able to walk to Cards/Rams/Blues games doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I am also excited about the momentum and direction of the recent developments downtown.”
Irwin is looking forward to moving into one of our 02 style condos, the 02 is a great 1bedroom plus studio with a nice Northern view.
“I really like the wall of windows in the 02 unit that extends all the way into the bedroom. Also the generous space of the utility room and the extra space provided by the study have given me endless ideas of how to best utilize the space, I'm sure a dilemma most people would love to have!”
