Buyer Profile:
Rick and Katie Fox Say Goodbye to the Big House in Fenton and Hello to Downtown Luxury Living
Rick and Katie were happy to find the condo feel they preferred with the downtown location they were looking for in the SYNDICATE. “Actually, there are a lot of reasons we chose The Syndicate. We love the location. Being in the Old Post Office District puts us within walking distance of everything we need, grocery store, retail, restaurants and entertainment. The urban Condo design was more appealing to us than the Loft style design and the quality finishes are not only a good value, but they accentuate the urban Condo style of the units. The buildings amenities will be top notch and definitely were another factor in our decision.”
Syndicate’s location not only provides convenience to restaurant and shops, but also shortens Katie’s work commute considerably. The Fox’s are also looking forward to less housework and more relaxation in their new condo. “Katie will be able to walk to work and will not have to deal with driving in traffic. Since we are moving from a county suburb, we will be eliminating the yard work and house maintenance responsibilities, which leaves us more time to relax and have fun together.”
Rick and Katie’s decision to move to the Syndicate took some time and they made sure they were well educated on what downtown had to offer. They are excited about their decision and are looking forward to the move downtown next spring. “We researched different developments and looked for over a year before we decided on The Syndicate as our new home. Craig Heller and the LoftWorks staff have been instrumental in the revitalization of downtown. Their experience and professionalism have made our decision to buy at The Syndicate a very happy one. We are looking forward to living at The Syndicate, as well as being a part of the growing downtown community.”

RETAILER SPOTLIGHT:
UMA DOT SPOT - Downtown’s newest modern furniture retailer is now open in the Louderman building, just one block west of the SYNDICATE.

The UMA Dot Spot is a premier retailer for Blu Dot brand furniture. Blu Dot is a furniture manufacturer based in Minneapolis that was started by 3 college friends, 2 architects and 1 sculptor. Blu Dot furniture is beautifully and ingeniously designed, which is just perfect for modern homes. However, the prices are still very reasonable. We are the second "Dot Spot" in the country, and the first freestanding Dot Spot.
The UMA Dot Spot also carries FLOR® modular carpet tiles, Pablo® lighting, Unison® bedding and pillows, and accessories by Stelton®. Many of these brands are new to St. Louis, and those that aren't we have the most complete selection of in the area.
The UMA Dot Spot is all about bringing modern and contemporary brands to St. Louis and downtown. We love our products because they're modern, original, high quality, but still very affordable.
The store owner, Mike Finan is a St. Louis native and is dedicated to bringing modern design to the area. We carried Blu Dot products in our original store, UMA, at 1100 Locust, but desperately needed a better way to display the furniture in a more cohesive way. When the space came available, we jumped on the opportunity to create a location that could focus on a few select brands.
